Online dictionary for kanji, katakana, hiragana???

Hey all, I'm looking for a way to write things in either kanji (preferably), katakana and/or hiragana. I looked online but there wasn't a way for me to type in a word and see the result, just "how to write the basics."

Anyone who can help will be much appreciated!

If you want to type in kana, you need an IME, such as the ones provided with Windows 2000, Windows XP and other programs like NJWin CJK.

For Windows 2000, you need to install Japanese support while in Windows XP you need the Far East Asian Language pack (which will give you Japanese, Chinese Traditional, Chinese Simplified and Korean).

As for an online dictionary, this one is my favourite.
