Allegations of 'date bait'
The Match lawsuit was filed earlier this month in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles by plaintiff Matthew Evans, who contends he went out with a woman he met through the site who turned out to be nothing more than "date bait" working for the company.

The relationship went nowhere, according to his suit....

Leviant said his client found out about the alleged scam after the woman he dated confessed she was employed by Match.

I always figured that some fraction of the profiles on there were ficticious just to boost their numbers and keep people interested. Never guessed that they went that far.

You guys should see adultfriendfinder.com... Just from their banner ads (on every dirtbag website) you can tell they're one fat hoax. The banner ads show a bunch of hot women living in your area.. then it says at the bottom "the pictures are not always people in your area" or something to that effect.

There is at least one Matchmaking Service here in Toronto that cost about $ 1000 for 3 months membership and guarantees you at least 3 dates. I am almost sure they employ women to fulfil their guarantee.
