Online check ordering

I have an old checking account I've never had checks beyond the original starters for, we are starting to use it as a primary account. I never use checks, and when I do I usually make the bank send them through online banking, but the wife wants to have some around.

The banks online ordering system isn't going through right, and they are closed today, and they would probably be overpriced.

The best I've found so far is

https://www.carouselchecks.com/

With basic checks for $4-$5 per 150 checks with register and $6 shipping.

Advice?

have used walmart checks and one other site (a pretty large one, can't remember the name), both times the checks were much cheaper than going through the bank, and haven't had any problems... just find a design you like and figure out which place is the cheapest.

Checks cost money from your bank? Even duplicates are free at Wells Fargo. I haven't ordered any in a while though, only have 1 check to write each month and maybe an odd bill or two in the mail every year.

thanks! I probably should have clarified, but I am mostly looking for the cheapest option.

So far it looks like carousel is my best shot, even edges out walmart.

Yea, its all trade offs. I get free atms anywhere, which is nice. My bank doesn't charge a fee and refunds the fees from the other banks. Comes in handy, I can use a gas station atm without thinking about it, used the atm in Ireland to get my cash at a good exchange rate for no fee.

I get mine free online from USAA. Free atm use too, and just about any other benefit that any other bank has. Oh yeah, and my bank isn't failing financially either.

I bought some from Wal-Mart.
From what I remember, they were cheap, quickly shipped and they still work.
