I went to the mall and bought some clothes with my check card when I got home I checked my account online and it showed the bills for the stores. Today I checked and the bills are gone from those stores I shopped at yesturday. Does this happen often?
 
Most banks debit cards work the same way. They probably have an authorization hold on your funds and it usually takes 3-4 business days for the charges to "hard post" where you see them debited from your checking account along with the original purchase date and the merchants name.

Give it a few days.
 
They removed the charges and froze your account because they figured someone must have stole your card.


"This stuff doesn't have anything to do with computers" is what they thought.
