Hi all,
When I first use my pc each day, whether it has been shut down or not ( I don't usually shut it down overnight), the speakers pop quite a bit for the first 30 seconds or so, and then they are fine if for example I play some continuous music for a while. It then seems to fix itself and is ok for the rest of the day.
I am running Win XP Pro and my sound card is a SB Live 5.1.
Any suggestions on what could be causing this?

Hmm not real sure. I have never heard of that being a problem with thoughs speakers. You might wanna give them an e-mail and see what they say.
