JUST GO SEE THEM,... .

they're like that joke if 2 boobs could become one, like into a SUPER BOOB..

Those 2 movies (starring Tony Jaa) contains every possible fantastic action ever concieved on film..

It goes from acrobatix to CGI,, to WWF wrestling,, To GANGSTA,, to DRAMA,, and then to BEAT UP THE TRANNIE... IT IS AWSOMEEE>...

Ong Bak & Shaolin Soccer...both worth seeing.

Tony Jaa kicks ass.

those two movies just might be the worst two films known to man. the acting is bad, the story is horrible, the only good thing about it is the fight scenes....and in the tom yum goong, theres not even that many redeeming fight scenes.

I got em both on DVD. The action scenes in these movies rock :] One of the scenes of Tom Yum Goong was this really long, ridiculous, and uncut fight. The cameraman just follows the guy running up like 4 flights of stairs kickin the crap outta like 50 bad guys, it was sweeeet.

Yep, both flicks rock! Sure the acting and stories suck but who cares. It's an ACTION MOVIE. Tony Jaa>All other "action" stars.

For the people who haven't seen these:

If a flying knee to the head of a guy on a moving motorcycle doesn't impress you, then Ong Bak may not be for you.

You fu*king make no sense,, How is it possible that you think these 2 movies are bad... They've got everything. U guys are either too old or just too lazy to read the subtitles. I mean, yes there are fight scenes but the story is just as cool. having that there really brings the movie together.

Also,, there are 2 scenes from both movie that really moved me... In Ong Bak it was when the villagers said goodbye to Tony for him to go find the budda..
and in Tom Yum Goong it was when Tony saw his deceased elephant brother..

Ong Bak is a really good movie. True martial arts. Thats an example of when a movie star does his/her own stunts without the "fear of the star getting hurt and not being able to finnish movie contract" like holly wood movies.

Which is the one with him breaking peoples arms for 20 minutes?

Tom Yum Goong. It wasnt' that long though. The entire fight scene lasted about that long but the limb snapping frenzy didnt happen until the last couple of minutes.

Because he is full of teenage angst and still has the childish notion that he is special?

the way martial arts movies should be.

Supposadly he knows Muy Thai... Half the time he was using Actuall kung fu. Huricane kicks, butterflies. Of course if he was only using muy thai, it would look Very boring and repetative.

I thought Ong Bak dragged on. The action was cool, but it didn't really save the movie for me. The plot was pretty much identical to a cheesy RPG game (SPOILERS):

1) Village loses its sacred idol.
2) Young hero volunteers to leave the village to go find it. The villagers give him money and trinkets to help him in his journey.
3) Lots of fighting and action, culminating in the hero pulling off a fire kick.
4) Hero beats the final boss and saves the idol (I think. I kind of stopped paying attention half-way through).
