Now ? this campaign into Mesopotamia isn?t about conversions. It?s as much about oil and business contracts and Israel and saving face as it is God and country. But the quasi-religious atmosphere in Washington policy-making circles is a major reason why you can?t ask any questions about the real national interest.

Can't argue with that.
