I am really trying to quit them for real this time. I have quit before but for some reason I always start back up within a year. I want to make this time different!

(yes, this is a shameless "looking for support" thread 🙂)

Congrats for you. I wish I had your willpower. I have been smoking for 30 years.

I am seriously considering that it might be time I think about quitting.

Keep up the good work!

🙂

I've heard good things from friends about smokeaway. I've been thinking about testing it out...

Yeah, I think thats what AUSM was advertising as it worked for him. I can't seem to quit for the life of me. I'll get around to it one of these days.

Right on, man. Think of how much money you'll save...not to mention how many more years you'll be healthy enough to spend it.

Keep it up man. Just try to avoid friends who smoke and you'll do fine.

Thanks to all of you for the support!! :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: :cookie: ...to all of you.

If I can do it...this time next year I will be sitting in a deck chair cruising to Mexico 🙂

I stopped 15 years ago (January 1989) and sitting here earlier today I actually toyed with running to the store and buying a pack.

Be careful as the months and years go by.

I quit two years ago and haven't looked back (that much, anyway, although there are days when I'd like nothing more than to have one). I can go to bars and smoky places without a problem -- the only time that it really gets me is if I've been drinking a little and am talking to someone who is smoking. My eyes tend to follow the cig around. 😉
