one thing i hate about gmail...

I have 7500 emails, lots of emails at 50 per page. Somewhere in that crazy list are 2 unread emails. I can't search or find emails that are unread in gmail, you just have to keep clicking older, older, older until you find the bastards. I started going and did a lot of older clicks before i gave up. They are missing forever and will forever have a bold "Inbox (2)"...

I don't keep my emails. When you get a reply to a conversation in your inbox does it not bump that convo to the top?

Whoa whoa this is more important than my issue. Why don't you keep your emails? WTF is wrong with you? You delete them? Why would you delete anything off of gmail. They even freaking yell at you when you delete them, they are like "why would you do that you idiot you practically have unlimited space we are space pimps we pimp out our space and its yours for free and its growing so don't delete them why?" so i never delete anything, evar because I don't like being e-scolded.
