Will one stick or two perform better in a motherboard that DOES NOT have dual chan?

Little if any diff in performance, but I like to use two sticks, so if one goes bad I won't be totally dead in the water. As it happens I was unlucky enough to get to test my theory a month or two ago - I was VERY glad I had two sticks. It took Kingston over a week to supply the replacement.

You might be able to run with more agressive memory timings if you use only one stick. It's also a little cheaper, and gives you the option to add more later.
