One of these might kill us all...

Well with the close call we had the other day, I'm gonna have to say we are goning to get blind sided. We won't ever see it coming untill it hits.

I happen to know for a fact taht TF5 is UN-STOPABLE, I mean nothing could stop this, not nukes, not another asteroid, nothing, not even earth itself will slow this beast down, it will go fight through us, out only hope is to push it into the sun....

On a semi-serious note, I watch all the Discovery specials about these asteroids and sometimes I shiver...I mean, it's already been proven that a massive-ass asteroid caused the Ice Age...one about 5 miles in diameter hitting the Earth at say, 10 times the speed of sound would basically change the entire weather structure of the WORLD.

But then again, I'm pretty sure we could nuke it and change it's path. Or something like tat.

When I think asteroids, I think of all the resources in there. *drool*
All the metal we could ever want, and we would not have to send stuff into space anymore - build it there.
