The mix of ages is also unusual -- there's no way I'd be socializing with 15-20 year olds "in real life" since I've been out of college for over a decade now.

One thing that keeps me coming back to AT is that it's open 24 hours and there's no travel time. I can visit for 5 minutes at lunch, or 10 minutes at 11:05 PM after watching a TV show.
