Does it make anyone else's tab row taller than without it? There is too much space between the top of the tab and the toolbar above it (about 1/2 the heigth of the toolbar too much).

/EDIT: n/m, its caused by the option 'make spaces on the tab bar of drop and click', whatever thats for.

Very nice extention, thanks for the link. The multi-row option for too many tabs is excellent, prevents ff from freaking out when too many tabs are open. :)

How many tabs do you normally have open?

I usually have under 10.

Anytime the opened tabs extend beyond the window width, the browser flickers and jumps, so it depends on how wide one's tabs are as well as the window. I read about a bug regarding this somewhere.

/EDIT: Well, I just tested it with all of my tab extensions removed, and its not happening now, so it could be one of the tab extensions that was causing it.

Yes, but it will it tell me if Abe Vigoda is still alive?

http://www.abevigoda.com

Edit: WTH does that have to do with anything?

Everything & nothing, if you don't see it I can't tell you.

I realize the difference between viewing it in FF versus internet explorer, but what's the big deal? IF you wanna wanna display it in firefox, just use "Configuration Mania" to change the user agent to mimick IE6

I just installed Tab Mix on a whim, even though I have Tabbrowser configured to do just what I want, and it does speed up FF significantly.

It seems like only a few people in this thread are actually using it, but so far I haven't had any problems at all. Can it save a tab session if you close the browser, though?

Oh, and fark the close tab button -- I just realized that middle click closes a tab. :D

Does Opera wipe your @ss too? I don't care about what opera can and can't do out of the box. I've used it, I have 8.0 beta installed on my comp right now, but I just don't like it and it doesn't render some of the websites I have to use (university pages) correctly at all. If you wanna say how much better Opera is than Firefox, then go start your own thread, don't hijack mine dagnammit!!!

Stop crying. You're trying to tell people about an add on that has certain feature and we're just telling you that Opera already does all of that. Plus it loads pages faster. We're all just trying to make browsing easier for people.

unless of course your advertising your own crap, then  to you

And has mouse guestures. And decent tabbed browsing support. And uses less memory. And has a mail client.

:D

Let's not forget irc support, notes and full customizability of the browser interface

I fear that you're forgetting the auto-forward feature and slick interface too.

Don't forget "paste-and-go" as well as "go to URL"

:Q How could I forget those insanely useful features? Woe is me.

/dons pirate hat

Yarr, this thread officially be hijacked.

/dons on turban

NOW, it's officially been hijacked

Edit: I totally forgot about the f12 quick settings feature

Oh don't forget the right-click translation of any text!

Wow. I've been using TBE forever and never realized how slow it made FF. The right-click context menu options don't seem to work but otherwise it's a great extension.

I think the asswiping feature of Opera is a seldom used mouse gesture.

Oh yeah, obligatory Opera > Firefox > MSIE
