I don't know what's so funny to you guys.

Monday is "Work Really Hard Day".
Tuesday is "Work Almost as Hard as Monday Day".
Wednesday is "Oh, God - Will This Week Ever End? Day".
Thursday is "DAMMIT THIS WEEK IS LASTING FORVEVER Day".
Friday is "Relax Day".
Saturday is "Shopping and Grooming Day".
Sunday is "Oh, No - It's Almost Monday Day."

Like, you know? Like, doesn't everybody have like, special names for the days of the week?

Pretty much in agreement. I do my work, and I try to do it well, but stressing over it is pointless.

Said it before, I'll say it again: Work isn't important in life, it's what gets in the way of what's important in life.

Nah Monday's more like ease into the week kinda day but then you realize after meetings and discussions with coworkers that there's a lot of crap to be done. However it's a Monday so you take it slow and you push it so Tuesday is my work really hard day. Wed is a possible work hard too but start thinking about the week ending. Thursday is the ADSFAFAWER work hard and look forward to dave & busters and Friday.

To use the term "subordinate" when referring to your employees, you must be a real dick of a boss. In this day and age that no one else here has flamed the OP for using that term is surprising They are not subordinate to you, they just work for you. Outside of work, they are your equal, don't think for a minute any of them see you as a superior being.

You obviously don't have subordinates.

bwahahahhahahahahahhahah

Your attitude is the very definition of insubordination, you subordinate. Fail at playing the game properly nor have you ever had subordinates. You need to work on your "organizational awareness" skills.

Tell her if she wants to relax and get less work done that's fine, you'll just relax and right a smaller amount on her paycheck.

Baloo has a point. I've always thought calling someone a subordinate meant you think they are inferior, as in lower class.

That *IS* a subordinate, whether you think it's not touchy-feely enough or not.

you should ask her how relaxed she's going to be when she spends all weekend looking for a new job and filing for unemployment ;)
