PCIe & SATA-3 on Intel DH67CL board? is a thread I started in the Motherboards forum. It attracted to responses here on AnandTech Forums, but:

The above post appears in another forum -- verbatim & including the same links to images hosted on my personal domain -- without attributing source to me, or to Anandtech Forums.

see: http://www.computersupportforums.com/showthread.php?tid=53656

I guess I'm flattered a bit, but it's somehow a bit disconcerting. And, irritating that a forum member posted it as original material under his own handle.

Is this normal and/or legal? I realize I do not have a copywrite on what I post here. Does Anandtech?

I tried to register on the site, and it rejects me, saying it only accepts registration from US, CA and UK. (I'm in Thailand.) I even tried registering using a USA proxy server.

Clicking on "contact us" in my default browser (Opera) throws up a newsgroup-posting form which I don't know what to do with -- where would I post? Clicking on "contact us" in IE or Chrome says Javascript must be enabled. (IE does show that a Java plug-in is enabled.) So, I don't know how to contact the board.

Should I just forgive and forget?

once upon a time i wrote article about different ways of doing formatting of a hard drive and published it on one community PC help website. Some forum republished article as their own, and they slapped their copyright on my images ... so it happens often, not much you can do it. Think about how many web pages are out there, and be sure not much is original content.

Hmmm. You gave me an idea.

How about I replace the original images -- the one he linked to -- to something like this:

plagiarized.png

Or, am I being a childish drama queen , and should just drop it?

if the images are hosted by yourself, that is a good idea. it almost always results in a reaction by the other party. just don't link to anything obscene, that is not nice

What a strange forum that is. Pages and pages of questions/threads with zero replies. 😵 I wonder if it's some sort of weird aggregation of computer posts from other forums or something. Very odd. :hmm:
