You obviously didn't show him enough affection when he was a young cat. He thinks this is right, because of your abusive relationship with your wife/girlfriend.
 
So are mine. They're always licking each other, and spooning in the window, and criticizing the way I dress...

I was saying that today at this restaurant I was eating at with my gf. (not in reference to a cat obviously). She acted as though I proposed eating a newborn infant. I was actually proposing a good old fashioned i love you drag
