I don't think it's terrible, but I have a few qualms / comments.

(1)- WTH with the dash? It's like being different for the sake of being different. The rest of the interior is the tiresome faux retro bs.

(2)- Rear end is not too nice.

(3)- Engine bay makes me sad, bunch of plastic garbage covering that beautiful motor. Why does everyone want to do this these days? (I'm not picking on GM here, BMW, Acura, etc, all seem more likely to do this with newer cars).

(4)- This thing is a tremendously heavy vehicle, severely diluting the 420+HP from that wonderful LS3. I predict that hot lap comparisons will show the 370Z to be more than a match, even with about 100 less HP, all the while making for a much more tactile and lively driving experience. Also, it's a helluva lot easier to add power than it is to drop weight.

(*)- Even with all of the above comments, I still think GM did a fairly good job bringing this back to the table. I am sort of non-plussed to see another big, heavy, detroit V8 muscle car (Mustang, Camaro, Challenger) .. I would have been in heaven to see a ~3,000lb-3,200lb Camaro see the light of day, and I still think GM is too sensitive to bring out a Camaro that encroaches upon the Vette's realm of dominance.

Yeah, we need a light muscle car, not some massive behemoth lumbering around like a half drunk bear.

I must say the interior looks like shit
I happen to like the interior design. Some of the details are lacking though. But really, who gives a shit. A 426 HP pony car with sexy, head-turning good looks. I think I could manage.

I would care if I was in the market.

I doubt you would ever consider this car even if the interior was up to whatever standards you have.

Actually for sportscars I turn away from my JPN bias and look towards US/GER cars..

But I won't be in the market in my lifetime (I am 22)

Then it will be a Civic and a used GTO or Corvette.

Didn't you already have one?

I had a GTO prior to getting the CTS. I would like to get one again, but depending on fuel prices, I would want a Civic or similar as a DD. I would then look at a used GTO or Vette as a fun car.

It's called a corvette...and costs 10K+ more.

Yeah...The 'Vette.

But this car is absolutely gorgeous. My ONLY gripe is the gauges, not a huge fan. They'll re-do them though, I bet.

My grandfather is currently debating getting a 2SS this summer, if available. =]

Did they really put cloth interior in the Camaro SS? Isn't this supposed to be the top of the line Camaro? And what's with that snap looking fucking thing holding the shoulder belt to the top of the seat? WTF were they thinking? And get some decent front seats in that bitch for christ sake!

Oh, and what idiot took those pics? All those close ups of the cheap-assed fabrics used on the doors and seats? Then again, maybe he's a genius because without those we wouldn't know how truly crappy the interior of this car really is.

No kidding...It looks like a confused robot is staring at you.
You have to be a Munchkin to get that perspective though, unless you're one of those dudes who drive with fully-reclined seats.

It's the same thing with the new Mazda corporate 'grin.' Some photos really exaggerate the effect due to the low angle of the shot and the fact that the face takes up most of the photo frame.

meh, the Camaro doesn't look like much of a classic muscle car.. Looks like its... gonna transform =p Assuming all the plastic doesn't fall off while it tries.

Too much futuristic look, not enough classic muscle.

No, that's not true. The Camaro was a brilliant muscle car initially...it just never got the gathering the Ford Mustang did.

I love the Plymouth Barracuda though. :D

Yep.. Out of the 3 redesigned muscle cars, I think Dodge got it right, at least as far as looks go..

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Challenger has got to be the most laziest and most uninspired of the 3. Don't get me wrong the exterior is nice but there is absolutely nothing striking about it, Dodge played it extremely safe.
