One new game

I am heading up the road this evening, and while I am there going to be picking up a new PC game.

Please vote on which game I should pick up tonight. I am sure most of you all here has played these titles.

Thanks

L4D is fun, but Crysis is the better game.

Edit: I haven't played Warhead, but I hear it's fun too. Better get Crysis first in case there are plot spoilers in Warhead.

Left 4 Dead on expert with good teammates is the best online experience of 2008.

No accounting for taste, but I find it far more entertaining than TF2. Opinions are like assholes though, so let's not get sidetracked into a debate on that.

NEW game.

Which is why Crysis really shouldn't be on there either.

Well Crysis' graphics certainly won't look dated next to any of those other games, and if he's never played it before it'll be new to him. I still vote crysis.

I voted for Stalker: Clear Sky, because I am going to ask for that for Christmas, but Crysis is an excelent game. Very fun, and lots of open-ended gameplay.

I couldn't believe all the votes for L4D...I played it and it was OK, but nothing special. Go for Stalker or Crysis: Warhead, both are good games.

Crysis is definitely something every PC gamer should experience if you have the rig to handle it.

Yeah, if you like smoldering piles of crap.

You're doing it wrong!

Exactly what I was going to say...anyone who complains about L4D is doing it wrong. Do it right. Get together with 3 buddies, or get on a pubby server with people who actually want to play co-op, then crank the difficulty up to expert and make sure your voice chat is working.

Absolutely stellar...so so many stories to tell after every session.

I'm very confused about something... you say you can only pick up ONE game but have both Crysis and the expansion on there. How the fuck do you expect to play the Crysis expansion without Crysis?

Warhead is an expansion? News to me...

Crysis Warhead is not an expansion. It is a stand-alone game. It was priced like an expansion because it is a short game.

Well, it expands the story (and the MP content kind of), but it's also stand alone, so while it makes sense to only get it if you have/have played Crysis (because otherwise it doesn't make much sense), you don't need Crysis to be able to play it.

Ok you need to:

1. Clean that sandy vagina of yours.

2. Realize expansions these days mostly dont need the original game to work. Leave the year 2000 brah, join the rest of us in 2008.

3. Also realize this is completely irrelivent and worthless because the OP should buy left 4 dead instead of any other game on that list.

Of the list, I only own Clear Sky, Crysis, and Crysis Warhead. All are great but I really enjoy Crysis and don't think it should be missed. I got it for $20 almost 6 months ago. Warhead is just as good in its own way, but for the story I'd probably get Crysis first.
