One more HL question!!!

To my knowledge, you do not need to connect to WON when on LAN....I always play LAN, and used to only have one CD key for 3 computers....
 
I have played HL at a LAN and no you don't need a connection to the net.
also you can have to my knowledge more than 1 computer with the same cdkey as long as you are playing on a LAN
