How much money could they possibly save by outsourcing just 200 jobs?

That's a good question. I guess if you figure SS, retirement, medical and so forth it could add up.

Enough to cancel out the bad press??

From what I read the people that bought Chrysler from M-B are only in it for the money. They have figured out some way to rape and split the assets in such a way that they will profit. In a few years the whole company could be history with a piece here and a piece there.

Great idea! If everyone boycotts them then you can ensure that 1000's more jobs will *be kept in the US!

*the word 'not' goes here.

And I couldn't possibly care less.

Here's a clue for American auto manufacturers, if you want people to actually buy your cars, make them reliable, even exciting, something that people actually want, and offer it for a decent price. I don't base my car buying choices on who gets to build it or in what country...never have, never will.

To be fair, the Charger is a pretty wicked looking vehicle.

However, considering that the Japanese are building everything in the US these days, and the Americans are outsourcing everything, I don't feel too guilty about my Toyota.

I was simply pointing out the stupidity of the proposed action. Not making a comment on the woeful state of domestic US car choice.

Blech, Charger looks like crap...it should have never had 4 doors or that ugly front end. The Challenger on the other hand is a sweet looking car.

Dodge eats bad press for breakfast! And then it shits bad transmissions and leaking head gaskets!

You should outsource your spelling.

I R gineer, if I karet about spellun I'd be an engulsh major and have a job and Mcdonalds

You never had to write technical documents or instructions?

I laughed at your original joke, but after reading this reply, I'm wondering if you've ever read a document written by an outsourced resource.

At least misspelling are usually understood and easily corrected.

🙂
