One free month DSL at Verizon.

currently i have both Cable Internet and Verizon DSL coming into my home. my cable i will cancel May 13th as that is when the promotion is over $19.95 / month. i called verizon to cancel my DSL and they said, well we will give you one month free. fine with me as i move in June. so now i'm good till almost the end of may.

wooot.

YMMV

i called verizon and got the same promotion, but go to dell and check their interent specials, theres a 100$ rebate for signing up through them and you get basicially the same deal, might even get another modem and u can sell ur current one.

*now thats getting a deal🙂*

hmmm, good idea. a couple of my clients had me buy them dells. i could probably get in on this deal on one of their receipts as they won't use them.

to all those that will ask, i will ask the client first. i have very good relationships with all my clients.

I got that deal for a free month but not in the same way. You can usually get a free month whenever Verizon has a promotion for anything free. (web cam, modem, router) if you are already a customer. Just call and ask for the current offer and then they will say they can't offer it to you. But they will offer a free month instead. Always works for me.

Free month or not, I'm checking out another DSL company that can offer from what I heard 7mbit/1mbit in the Mid-Atlantic area. If they're good, screw Verizon and even their newsgroups. 1.5mbit/128kbit doesn't cut it anymore.

I've had them for almost a month now. I got the first month free, and five bucks off for the next two months.

Its been great. I get a little over 90KBS, my girlfriend gets double that at her house. She's a lot closer to the co than I am..

At least where I am, its a better and faster deal than cable internet.
