Michelle Bachman announces formation of an exploratory committee for the 2012 Presidential election.
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.co...ploratory-committee-in-june-possibly-earlier/

CNN has exclusively learned that Rep. Michele Bachmann will form a presidential exploratory committee. The Minnesota Republican plans to file papers for the committee in early June, with an announcement likely around that same time.

But a source close to the congresswoman said that Bachmann could form the exploratory committee even earlier than June so that she could participate in early Republican presidential debates.
Let the bashing begin!

Personally I'm pretty lukewarm on Bachman; I find her far too socially conservative, and she doesn't seem to me to be particular bright even for a politician. I do find her attractive - though not to Nikki Haley or Kristi Noem standards - just not in a candidate way.

Bash her? Shame on you possum. This woman is a virtue. She embodies integrity, faith, honor and intelligence. And she's beautiful to boot. Ms. Bachmann, I doubt you follow P&N but for the love of our Christian God please run for president. It would be a tremendous honor to serve you. If you need any help whatsoever please do not hesitate for a moment to contact me. Your most unworthy and faithful servant, Jonks.

Michelle Bachman is basically the Wiley Coyote of Congress. An entertaining cartoon character to watch, but in the end idiotic and crazy and wouldn't ever actually trust in charge of anything. I get the feeling the exploratory committee will come back with "um ... maam. When we exclusively poll asylums your support is over 80%. When we talk to the sane with IQ's above 75 it seems support for you is around .7%. We recommend against you running."

I for one am awaiting her announcement outside of my local abortion shop with a Molotov cocktail I'll toss in as a celebratory gesture in her Christian good name

Democrats are loving her running. It just helps paint republicans as extreme nuts.

Oh and don;t forget, the nut from AZ is going to run for congress after losing a easy layup win against Reid. :)

I for one hopes she runs and wins the Republican Nomination and names Sarah Palin as her running mate.

MILFS for 2012 can be their slogan!!

The only sitting Congressperson ever elected president was Garfield, and that was 130 years ago. Things didn't work out so well for him. But I implore you Ms. Bachmann, do not be a slave to history; rather, Make History!

Obama could put ground troops in Libya in that case and still have a very good chance at winning.

Brace for hilarious debates and epic Obama landslide victory.

I too implore Ms. Backmann to become history, as in ancient history.

But serious, in 2012, the niche who is the nuttiest GOP candidate field is crowded, very crowded. Here we have Michelle Backmann, Sharon Angle, Sarah Palin, and so many more.
And who knows, how many more will crawl out of the woodwork? Mirror mirror on the wall, which can make the nuttiest statements of them all?

I wonder if the personnel working for her exploratory committee will have the cajones needed to tell her the truth. Will anyone working for her have the balls to tell her that the vast majority of Americans think she is a complete moron?

I hope she runs and puts The Dingbat (Palin) on her ticket.

Perhaps they could run on a platform of, "We must attack the Nation of Tsunami to prevent further attacks against Japan."

Those two would provide no end of comic material.

Don't know much about her, but damn she is a great looking woman!
Hottest congresswoman ever maybe?
How did I not know about her before you mentioned her name?

Y'all should check out this article from The Capitolist:

Kristi Noem, Rising GOP Star, Under Fire for 20 Speeding Tickets

Kristi Noem, the Republican nominee challenging incumbent Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin for South Dakota's only House seat, is under fire after local news reporters unearthed her lengthy record of driving violations.

Noem, 38, is widely considered to be one of the GOP's strongest candidates this year. She was recently featured in a front page Washington Post profile of the South Dakota race and topped our list of the "Next Women to Watch" in the 2010 election cycle because of her experience as assistant majority leader in the South Dakota House of Representatives and her strong showing in polls that have her leading Herseth Sandlin.

According to local news reports, Noem's lifetime driving record includes 20 speeding tickets, three stop sign violations, two seat belt violations, and a citation for failing to carry her driver's license. She has also received six notices for failing to appear in court and two arrest warrants for failing to pay fines related to her tickets. She was stopped by police earlier this year for driving 94 mph.

We've seen how History is one of her best subjects.
