why do damn flowers cost so much

That price is nothing. Considering you'll pay that much for a dozen rozes by themselves. Include the extra 12 and the vase...good deal.

I hate to crap, but I have to say proflowers is one of the worst as far as flower quality out there. I used to work deliveries at a florist when i was in college, so i know good flowers when i see em. Everytime ive seen pro flowers in their tacky little boxes, im always underwhelmed. They tend to be the really small buds you can pickup at the grocery store.

With that said, for 39 bucks its pretty cheap for flowers on valentines, but it really doesnt compare to the $85+ long stems you get from yer local florist.
Its better than nothing, but its not gonna blow everyone away at the office where she works.

Its a decent deal, but set yer expectations accordingly.

Dammit I wish you would have said something before I ordered. Now I just paid $50 for some low class flowers. Well, I hope for my sake you are wrong.

Anyone know of a good online source? I normally do the local grocery store thing but this year, that's not gonna work. Just curious if any of you have bought flowers online/had them delivered and could suggest a quality, yet inexpensive source. The ones on this hot deal don't look very appealing to me but it's still a nice price for 2 doz.

I have never had any major problems with proflowers. One time though the flowers were hot (I live in arizona) causing them to wilt even though they were wrapped with the moist towel and had the water spikes on. Profloweres rused me out another 2 dozen got them the next day @ 8:00 am. The good part is the orginal floweres perked right up and lasted for about 2 weeks. and then the ones that came in lasted the same...I paid 40.00 for 4 dozen longstem roses....hehe. Cant complain about that...They were gorgeous too.

I dont know the website offhand (google it) but martha stewart's flower delivery service is supposed to be very good if its available in your area.

My mother has used it on many occasions and been more than satasfied (and she knows her flowers).

Great deal. My wife and me met on the 14th, so there's no way I could skip this one 🙂
Escpecially, since it's going to be 10 years since we met.

A dozen roses at my local florist is $75, no vase, nothing. Two dozen roses and a vase? Awesome! Thanks, OP!
