One computer, two harddrives, each seperate?

Hey guys, quick question.

I just put together a PC with 2 100gb HDD's, running XP. I would like to have it set up so that each harddrive is it's own image. One for work, one for play. so say at the windows login scren I have two accounts. one points to one Harddrive and the other goes to the other harddrive.

Is this possible? Thnks.

EDIT: It's not on a raid array.

It is possible, and it is called dual booting. Try googling it and you should get several helpful guides. I had a dual boot rig with Linux and XP about 3 years ago, and I remember it not being too hard to set up. I would imagine that dual booting Windows XP would be pretty simple..

Edit I just reread your post and it sounds like you are looking to use the same OS, only have it direct different accounts to the seperate hdd's. I'm not sure if that is possible...

Ok thanks,

I have the dual boot working and I only have one question. when I startup and it asks me which one I want to boot, both options say "Windows xp home edition."

Is there any way to change this so that other users will know which one to select?

yes yes boot.ini go in through msconfig very easy if i remember and you should be able to rename them to like work and home or something..
