one bad movie after another

3 movies came today from netflix

Jackie Chan's Second Strike - WTF? Jackie Chan (or at least the one I know) is not in this movie despite him being on the disc art. Not to mention it sucks horribly. I couldn't even finish it.

Conquest - some old Italian (English dialog) sword and sorcery movie. Another bad movie, at least there seems to be plenty of bare tits, even if they are small. Still watching it but not sure for how long.

The Young Master - Directed by and supposedly starring Jackie Chan (although after 2nd Strike, I'm kind of skeptical). I haven't watched this one yet so hopefully this one will redeem the last 2. Not much hope though.

no, i got the "jackie chan" movies because I like him and his movies.

i got the other one because i like fantasy movies but i didn't realize they'd be this bad.

i don't really trust review sites and stuff because people's tastes are too different. i like movies that lots of other people didn't like and vice versa.

i agree with pontiflex about not trusting IMDB. i used to somewhat but not really that much anymore. i will go based on what people I know who saw the movie say about it, or what the previews show. there are plenty of movies rated high on IMDB that i hate, there are some on IMDB that are rated low that I enjoy, and there are some I agree with.

young master was pretty good, assuming you like old school kung fu movies. the last fight scene is loooooong

It's called that because he was in Jackie Chan's First Strike 😛.

here i thought you were talking about movies at the theater. which lately would fit that description too.

Obviously someone is not a fan of SPARTA! 😉

EDIT: Note that I found 300 really boring so far so I'm not really a fan of it at this point.
