Lou Dobbs gave birthers airtime while continuing to ask for evidence that had already been provided and yet claims to be "moderate." He is a sensationalist liar.

His hypocrisy isn't surprising. He's married to a Latina, but spews anti-Mexican shit every chance he gets.

Even if we foolishly assume that Lou Dobbs is some sort of an omnipotent guru with all the right answers for what ails the USA, we are still left with the Obama dilemma, Lou Dobbs would still have to sell his agenda to a rather clueless congress. Failing that, and no change happens.

I really don't think we need a xenophobic birther who called Condi Rice a 'cotton picker', spread lies about Mexicans infecting us with leprosy, etc.. etc... etc.

No it wouldn't matter what party he ran on, not only would I not vote for a piece of trash like him, very few others would either.

How can he be so very xenophobic if his own wife is Mexican born? That doesn't make any sense. That label immediately seems to get attached to anyone who opposes illegal immigration, so I consider that to be a positive attribute.

I can honestly say I don't know a whole lot about his political views, but I used to watch him when he hosted CNN Moneyline. I'd definitely check him out if he ran for office. The fact that the radical left and radical right both can't stand him is a very good thing. The fact that the politically correct whiners can't stand him is even better. Definitely worth a look.

Apparently you have a hard time seeing a difference between "anti-Mexican" and "anti-illegal-immigration". Most rational people don't have that problem.

Dobbs is great at complaining but I don't think he has what it takes to bring people together to hammer out solutions to the problems. It's almost like it's his opinion or nothing and he's too stubborn to compromise.
So, he'd be like our current Congress then ........

Then why comment on him being president.....

Because the question wasn't whether I was aware of his political views or not, the question in the OP was whether I would consider him if he ran for president. I answered that question. Any other issues? ;)
