WASHINGTON - Moisture-laden storms from the north, west and south are likely to converge on much of America over the next several days in what could be a once-in-a-generation onslaught, meteorologists forecast Tuesday.

I hope you all have stocked up on the essentials.

Well I've got plenty of  & canned food, so I'm ready! 😀

Anyone seen "The Day After Tomorrow"? With the tsunami and now this....

Yeah, ok, it's just coincidence, but still, creepy.

True, I didn't even think of that. Evidently it's been hell in SoCal recently too. It makes me worry that we really are fvcking over the global climate and it's going to fvck us back sooner or later.

It's ok, I already got some land picked on Mars. Just having trouble finding someone willing to go and do a survey.

All three are likely to meet somewhere in the nation's midsection and cause even more problems, sparing only areas east of the Appalachian Mountains.

great, the midsection gets all the fun while it remains ridiculously mild here in NorthEast. what a rip off.

And here in the Mid Atlantic, it's like 60 degrees. I hates it!
No kidding, with no change until after the 14th of January.

And I want to go skiing. 🙁

We already had our once in a generation storm in March of 93 or 94 I think... 3 feet of snow overnight.

i dont see much unless the rain/snow thats supposed to come in like a week is it. and i checked both here (home) and at college and really nothing.

MIKE

i must be in the good spot, after a cold day tomorrow, we are supposed to warm up nicely for the next several days

right now michigan is snowed in pretty bad but by auto show week, it'll be calm and normal

so don't worry 😉

They it snows in my city is the day I will freak out since it hasn't snowed my city in thousands of years.

It looks like theres a foot or more of snow over here in the Suburbs of Chicago ....

My boss was ultra cool and called me an hour and a half before my shift started to tell me I could work from home if i'd like to ... (and I took her up on the offer)
