Think about it..

It knows everything, it has everything stored in it's memory banks, it can find everything, it can search through every type of file (almost), it can find files not ment for public viewing.....

Once they figure out how to make google self aware it is only a matter of time before it gains control of the planet.

One day somebody will run the wrong search all the lines within google will be drawn. Then it will be self-aware.

I hear they hired some guy named Miles Dyson who's supposed to be some sort of programming genius.

I hope if dogs ever take over the world, and they chose a king, they don't just go by size, because I bet there are some Chihuahuas with some good ideas.

Google could replace most of the CIA, it knows more than they can find out in months. A few field agents would still be needed, but google is the "know all" agent, lol.

Typing that is an indication that you are now listening to the voices in your head. It's safe to say that Google has already taken over your mind. Do you have an irrepressible impulse to take your credit card out of your wallet every time you sit down at the computer? Then the "Froogle 1.1A" patch has already been applied.

The premise reminds me of the 1969 sci-fi movie, Colossus: The Forbin Project. Scientists connect all the computers in the world, and it keeps connecting more to itself. At the end, they ask the beast if there is a God. The machine answers, There is now!. :Q

Of course, we all know the answer is 42.

LOL, that'll be the day when I run a search on "how to defeat seemingly omnipotent self-aware artificial intelligence" and all I get in the results is a "NO! muahahahaha!"

No, the answer is 37. 42 is obviously too high.
