And isn't that a complete eye sore....

You'd have to have exceptionally tender sensibilities to call any Audi an "eyesore," since their styling is generally so conservative and bar-of-soapy. I think they are handsome but if anything slightly bland. To me to be an eyesore you have to be trying harder than Audi's designers generally do.

We are talking A7.....that thing is ugly.....awkward looking....to me anyways.

Audi's pathetic way of competing with BMW's pathetic attempt at 4 door hatch.

They are all a mess if you ask me.

I misunderstood you.

I would agree the big hatchbacks are probably not a great idea, but as such things go I think the A7/S7 are much more appealing than the Panamera or 5 series GT. I still wouldn't buy one . . .

I should have clarified. My comment was only about design. I'd rather drive the BMW any day of the week, and twice on Sundays, but damn it's ugly.

true i agree on that one.

the new 1 series hatch in europe looks horrible with those huge bug eyes.

I agree, I wouldn't buy any of them. They just look fugly.

But in general, Audi designs still have some appeal. I do like the A5....TT is nice too. R8 is awesome.

I just have big beef with the interiors. This is where Audi have done an amazing job int he past.

Recent interior designs are just......meh, very BMW like/bangled.....but again, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

Since the Bangle 7 series, BMW has lost me all together. They are probably the worst when it comes to design (right next to Nissan.....Honda catching up quickly now days). The issue is with the difference, to go from such a classic beautiful design to such overdone/tacky/too many curves design was just WAY too big of a pill for me to swallow.

Right now I don't like 1 BMW.

I remember the days when I used to stare at BMWs and admire them....now they just go by and I don't even notice them. Blah

i wouldn't say that , but they really lost their way during the bangle era

i think the current F10 5 series and F30 3 series ( i do own one...) look decent if not pretty good with the right trim packages. the 7 series and F20 / E82 1 series look pretty odd. and well everyone says the 3GT/5GT/x6 are terrible and i agree. best looking car they make in my opinion.. is the Z4, i'd take a Z4 over a TT. but i'd take an a8 or a A3 over a 7 or a 1 series. 6 grancoupe isn't terrible either, real toss up looks wise with the A7 (though im not a huge fan of the whole 4 door coupe thing..)

Might be that they are more common than Hondas and Toyotas and every trailer/studio-apartment queen with a job at QuickMart has one these days?
