Onboard sound on KK266

Hello people,
I'm using the onboard sound on the Iwill KK266. When playing mp3's, it stutters very badly (slows down) when opening new programs, minimizing, maximizing, etc... basically when something takes up a little processor power. This used to not happen when I was using a 400 celeron with 96 ram, so it's frustrating that this happens on my Duron 933! I'm using the latest sound drivers, and Win2k. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Also, how do I check the version of my 4-in-1 drivers? Thanks.

u mentioned the 4 in 1's i would just go ahead and install the latests ones cuz the odds are you don't already have them unless u have installed in the last couple weeks... also try the latest audio driver from Iwill and if that doesn't help try the one from VIA's site (download link is right near the 4in1)

Try bios 426. Supposedly the fixed some sound stuttering in this release.
