I have Asus P7P55D . It does have JMicron 363 SATA on it as well as Intel.

I'd like to have 2 disks in RAID 0
And the third drive by itself for the OS.

Will the onboard RAID of a P55 motherboard allow this ?

There are over 60 P55 based MBs with onboard RAID listed at Newegg...
Which specific model are you asking about?

Boards that have multiple storage controllers can do this (ICH10+Marvell+JMicron combinations). Some chipsets like those used in nForce 790i have multiple controllers in the southbridge which also permit multiple storage configurations.

I have Asus P7P55D .

It does have JMicron 363 Option ROM on it as well as Intel I believe.

I read something about the JMicron not being very good and to just disable it. I don't know much, so I don't even know what Jmicron is there for in the BIOS. But, it mentioned that something about a BOOT ROM.

Ok. Now I'm reading 363 not 361 and it says it is a SATA Controller.

So, if I put hte OS on that SATA it would be good?

Thanks
