Onboard LAN on PCCHIPs sis 735 motherboard

Win2k and win98 both do not identify the Sis 900 onboard LAN card. If I install the drivers I get an yellow exclamatory mark in device manager.
I enabled it in the bios. Any help appreciated

Some of the Alton (PC-Chips) boards have a jumper to enable or disable the CNR Network card. Carefully check the motherboard for this jumper. I can't say certainly where it is. but if I remember correctly it is between or just behind the PCI slots. Hope this helps!

You are right Compudog I had connected audio cable to that jumper for LAN, stupid me, thanks for the help. Everything is working fine now.😀
