Liberals don't understand conservatives and conservatives don't understand themselves, although conservatives understand themselves and liberals better than liberals do. So what I am going to say is maybe going to be a bit of a tough sell.

Liberals base their morality on justice and fairness and so do conservatives, but conservatives throw in three more issues of concern.

3. In group concerns, the ability to identify trust and cooperate with close in group members, patriotism, loyalty, allegiance, sacrifice for co-resident in group members, etc

4. Hierarchy, perquisites and duties of in group leaders, respect awe and reverence for authority civil obedience....

5. Purity....reverence of the body and disgust for contamination, fool, sex, regulations etc.

The first two moral foundations are called individualizing, morality for the individual, and the last three binding, because they relate to the duty of the individual to the group.

So what we see then, is that it is really conservatives who have a moral that concerns itself with community relationships. They are the real communists. Liberals are all about the individual, community be damned. Their moral field of vision does not take it in.

Justice and fairness (the progressive idea of equal outcomes) are mutually exclusive. Hence why liberals like yourself are so mentally paralyzed by cognitive dissonance.

Socialists. The republican party is a socialist party. Dens are socialist as well. Socialism pervades itself through all modern governments and political thought(for the most part)

You start a thread called "Why conservatives are communists" and then claim liberals don't understand conservatives, but conservatives claim to understand liberals.

Self-awareness. You ain't got it.

I'd look for an attractive facepalm picture, but it'd be more of a waste of time than this has already been.

I knew it would be a tough sell. But it's not a matter of what I say but what the research says. I only said liberals are worse at understanding conservatives that conservatives are at understanding liberals because I can be persuaded by scientific evidence, a liberal strength and that's what the evidence says. And since the three pillars of morality that conservatives don't share so strongly with liberals are all about community dynamics conservatives are more communist than liberals are. But, of course, leave it to conservatives to argue with science. You are probably so worried about your standing in the conservative community herd, the people of truthiness, that you probably think admitting to your communist tendencies would cost you your flat earth society card.

My big interest in this is in telling liberals that conservatives are more like them they realize. Liberals are worse at seeing communality with conservative morality than conservatives the opposite.

Having standards makes someone a communist.

Okay....
God damn it, think. Liberals weight morality in the direction of justice and fairness. So do conservatives but they don't give it the same weight as liberals do because they factor three additional morality types into the way they balance things. The three moral standards that mean something to conservatives and much less to liberals involve community morality. So what's with conservatives calling liberals the ones who are communists. So if most of your vaunted standards revolve around community and you also value justice and fairness, don't go pointing your bony virtue fingers at liberals about being the communists.

Liberals arent communists yet, theyre socialists. Conservatives arent communists, unless you think that because they want whats "best for everybody" then theyre communists. If thats true then liberals are DOUBLE communists, because they forcefully take from people to give to others in the spirit of bettering the country.

Though, both parties are lamesauce and if we had to use a party system I would vote libertarian.

Spot on, while now we are in a cycle of corporate socialism, it's still socialism.

M: Both mentalities are based on moral beliefs and both want what's best for everybody. The morality that drives liberals is individual based, the morality that drives conservatives is individual based to a lesser degree but adds community morality beliefs.

S: Though, both parties are lamesauce and if we had to use a party system I would vote libertarian.

M: On what moral basis do you say this? Do you reject fairness and justice that the individual is all important, or do you reject that the individual has obligations to the community that make the individual less important, at times?

Do Republicans want to join the socialism train? 1. Republicans are in denial about their socialism and Democrats are in denial about Republican morality. Republicans are almost as interested in fairness and justice as they are.

Lol, no, liberals base their morality on a fairy tale that everyone is equal. All the stupidity that follows is the result of that.
You may call it stupidity but liberals think differently: Common sense says that Governments long established should not be changed for silly reasons and everybody knows that mankind would rather endure tolerable sufferings than fix them if it means changing what they are used to. But when it gets really bad liberals have a right and duty push for a different Government that respects such notions as equality.

In liberals perverse minds justice and fairness are synonyms for equal. When in reality they are closer to opposites.

All western Democracies are welfare states. For some reason welfare has come to mean to Americans "free shit". There is nothing wrong with a welfare state if run correctly. This is why the right paints itself into the corner of extremism, they do not even understand how modern civilization works. A shame too, it just shows how entitled to live in a bubble these folks are to live in ignorance of the world around them.

Corporate/Military welfare = good

Single parent families, vets or retirees? Mooches.

I dont know how these peoples spinal cords dont reach up and throttle their own brains for such stupidity.

So in other words conservatives have the opposite problem of liberals.

Where liberals think that everyone is deserving of having society taking care of them no matter how many immoral anti-societal choices they make.

Seems to me like liberals do not understand the idea of the social contract any better than conservatives. A contract implies responsibilities to both sides.

This is just plain stupid, no one says such a irresponsible thing. What world are you from to be so ignorant of others?

Your problem is after all this time of people explaining things to you, you want to believe this nonsense. I am sure it helps you justify your extremism.

That is on you, not liberals. It is you making the conscious choice to be willfully ignorant and dishonest to lie about fellow Americans motives. And it shows by the delusional fundamentalist dogmatic posts you make embarrassing yourself.

Your whole dumbass shtick in here is that liberals encourage single parenting. Yet you ignore the fact that single mothers are not a partisan issue. In other words you are a liar who sees what you wish. You are not worth even responding to. But it seems the right only has your ilk left. Sad.

Liberalism is the ideology that normalized no-fault divorce and having children out of wedlock. This is an undeniable fact.

Liberals are the ones that support a whole host of programs to support this behavior. Even you agree with this from your prior post.

But hey lets ignore all that.

Do you personally feel it is wrong to have a child outside of marriage. Yes or no?

EDIT: And you appear not to have heard of the conservative fetish for abstinence-only sex education.

No. Is it the best circumstance? It depends on the individual situation.

Now, I have a question for you, is it better to raise a kid with a alcoholic abusive father who does not work and beats their wife in front of the kids or to raise it in a single parent family?

Once again your position is poorly thought out black and white emotional nonsense that has no bearing on reality.

You need a education comrade, you have the mind of a child emotionally.
