Fuck the u.s. Constitution!
Fifteen minutes, not bad, but a bit longer than expected.
Let's restore the power of government where it was intended to be, with the people.
Now let's amend it using a Convention of States to rein in the power that the Legislative, Executive and Judicial branches of government have accrued through manipulations of the system. Let's restore the power of government where it was intended to be, with the people.
and that is funny why?
First, understand that First really, really doesn't care for me. It goes way beyond the fact that unlike him, I'm not a progressive.and that is funny why?
Always remember the first rule of power tactics: Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.
The second rule is: Never go outside the experience of your people.
The third rule is: Wherever possible go outside the experience of the enemy. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.
The fourth rule is: Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules.
The fourth rule carries within it the fifth rule: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.
The sixth rule is: A good tactic is one that your people enjoy.
The seventh rule is: A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.
The eighth rule: Keep the pressure on.
The ninth rule: The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.
The tenth rule: The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition.
The eleventh rule is: If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside.
The twelfth rule: The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.
The thirteenth rule: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
The idea that anyone would even entertain the idea of a convening a Constitutional Convention given the current crop of politicians is pretty funny. Remember, as bad as the politicos in Washington are, they are the cream of the political crop. The state houses are filled with far worse.and that is funny why?
Actually, I'd say they're the worst of the worst.as bad as the politicos in Washington are, they are the cream of the political crop.
Yup. Many find comfort in the status quo. Things may not be to their liking but change is too scary. We'd better find some common ground soon because we're swirling down the drain and Republicans and Democrats in DC aren't going to help anyone but themselves.Actually, I'd say they're the worst of the worst.
Amending the Constitution has never been easy, but it's been done. Eventually, it'll have to be done again.
What's funny to me is the people most vocal against it, are the same clowns who trash the Constitution the most.
"Oh, that outdated thing?"
Well if it's so outdated, let's update it already.
"Sacrilege!!!"
Um, have you actually spoken to "the people"? They're watching reality TV while waiting on Uncle Sugar's next teat drip. Now let's amend it using a Convention of States to rein in the power that the Legislative, Executive and Judicial branches of government have accrued through manipulations of the system. Now if only the founding fathers had spelled out each individual private citizens right to own an AR-15 we wouldn't have so much trouble from the left that try to argue against us having them.

The power of the sword, say the minority..., is in the hands of Congress. My friends and countrymen, it is not so, for The powers of the sword are in the hands of the yeomanry of America from sixteen to sixty. The militia of these free commonwealths, entitled and accustomed to their arms, when compared with any possible army, must be tremendous and irresistible. Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man against his own bosom. Congress has no power to disarm the militia. Their swords and every terrible implement of the soldier are the birthright of Americans. The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments but where, I trust in God, it will always remain, in the hands of the people.
