My ex-lady friend would get REALLY pissed if I called womens "Panties" panties.
She claimed it was sexist......and that they should just be called "Underwear"

Though she tended to get pissed @ a LOT of things I said and did.......

I guess this would explain why after braking up with her 10 years ago I'm still by myself!! 😉

Does ANYONE agree with her on this point or was she (as I like to think) just WACKED??
 
Um, they're panties. Just for the same resason you don't see women wearing "briefs". Is a bra also "underware"? Yes, but it's still a bra!
 
Could go either way. Regular, everyday cotton type of under garment that is quite similar to men's briefs sans the crotch opening could easily be referred to as underwear as opposed to panties. OTOH, the little silky & feminine types do seem more like panties.

Then things CHANGED.....................

Gets mad if the PC gamer you're reading has naked woman (her defination is anyone with skimpy outfits). Will only let you read it after she inspects it and tear out all the offending pages.

Will not let you use the word b!t<h as she think it is degrading to woman?

As for panties... hmmmmm I was never offended by that word.... the only way I can see it is that maybe....some people use that to describe little girls underwear so perhaps she thinks you belittle her if you use that word?
