ok so i got this razer diamondback mouse, but i have no idea what on-the-fly sensitivity is and if it actually makes a difference. this might seem like a stupid question but sorry..
 
It allows you to change cursor speed while in game in the event you have a preference for slower reticle movement on certain weapons, or in the event a certain game (Thief - Deadly Shadows for instance) may not have an in game (menu) adjustment slider you can use it instead.
