I am just curious about one dilemma.I own an MSi RTX 2080Ti Gaming card, and this card support only HDMi 2.0.I planning to buy LG TV C1 with refresh rate of 120Hz.This TV supprt HDMI 2.1 4k 120 HZ.If i purchase this TV, i will be limited only at 60Hz on 4k resolution ??
thanks

4k 60 Hz is all your going to get. Not HDR.

HDMI 2.0a adds HDR @ 4k 30 hz
HDMI 2.0b adds HDR @ 4k 60 hz
HDMI 2.1 adds 4k 120 Hz + HDR + optionally VRR xor FRL

also with HDMI, no promises, dissappointment is always a possibility.

True 4k 120hz requires hdmi 2.1 48Gbps. Hdmi 2.0 is 18Gbps and limited to 4k 60hz.

You may be able to use 4k 120hz at 8bit and a reduced color of 4:2:0 which means no HDR, so it would impact image quality significantly.

4k 60hz at 4:2:0 is 17.82 Gbps, he is already at 8bit.

Yes... but then you lose the crispness of running at native resolution and are dependent on the scalers. This may effect things like text sharpness, which depends on how good your eyes are and how far you sit from the display.

4K 60 at 4:2:0 was possible on hdmi 1.4...?

I do not believe HDMI 2 supports HDR at all, so no.

What display port version* is your GPU using? If it is 1.4 the below might work for you:
its a roll of the dice

*its 1.4a
