Go to www.800.com and put the Fuji Fine Pix 2600 Zoom camera in your shopping cart($299.95 on sale for $282.85),when you buy this camera you automaticaly get a $50 gift check, then put any smartmedia card, the smartmedia 64MB is on sale for $37.93,into the basket and Fuji will give you a $35 rebate. Now since you bought the camera you also get a free accesory kit(tripod, batteries, charger, lens cloth and case).
THEN when you check out use your MSN Passport and MSN will give you $60 for spending over $300.(go to Passport web site for details.$10 for every $100 spent)
So it works out like this:
Camera:$282.85-$50=$232.85
Smartmedia card:$37.93-$35.00 Fuji rebate=$2.93
accessory kit:Free
MSN Passport rebate for spending $300 at www.800.com=$60
Shipping:$7.95
So, $232.85+$2.93=$235.78-$60=$175.78+$7.95(s/h)=$183.73

Pricematch a lower priced store with your AMEX Blue or something similar and get another ~$80 off! Buydig.com is one of the stores that has it for much less...

There was a thread on the fuji finepix just a few days ago HSN was selling for 180 , there is a coupon for 20 percent off , i took advantage of that deal and bought myself the same camera for 152.00 shipped.
You can view the thread here ThREAD

Gift checks are lame.
This camera blows away the $150 dollar one from HSN. I guess if you know that there's $50 worth of stuff that you'd be buying at 800.com anyway this is a good deal...

I just received this camera yesterday through a different deal. It is a GREAT camera. Much better than the 2300 from hsn.com. The movie mode was pretty fun to play with but there is no sound and you are limited to 20 sec. The big selling points for me over the 2300 were the optical zoom and the lens cover. The LCD also seems to be bigger and the menus are better.

Ahhhh, I get it HYUCK HYUCK, the $50 gift check is for later purchases, not this one...HYUCK HYUCK

It's still a good deal regardless. I would use my $50 GC towards DVD movies, digital camera accessories, video games, or maybe even a DVD Player.

How does the pricematch work with AMEX Blue? Do you just call them after you've made the purchase and tell them where you found the better price? Will they honor it for ALL websites?

where does the $60 from passport come in? I don't see applied on the "please review your order before placing it" page? Does it get credited to my card later?

Az,

I was thinking the same thing. I'm on the phone right now with 800.com trying to figure out how we'll know if it went through using passport.

I contacted PassPort and they said as long as you went through there site to get to 800.com it will work,I asked how to be positive and she said they will send a confermation # in about a week.
See the FAQ site here: FAQ

"I just got an order confirmation from a merchant, but it didn?t mention the MSN Holiday Reward. Did my order count?
As long as you came to the merchant?s site from an MSN property and used Passport Express Purchase, your purchase will count towards your reward check. MSN will send you an email within a week after the transaction is completed that will confirm that the purchase will contribute to your reward. "

Where's the rebate?

Do you guys remember last year MSN deal with 20% of Dell Computer ?? That's is realy good deal. The MSN rebate deal for last year give you check, they didn't credit back your CC.
I got my check around Feb this year for the MSN rebate deal I did on Nov. 2000 for buying Dell Laptop with 20% off plus Dell own promotion.
I don't think you can combine with ebates when I tried it didn't won't go through , but I'm not sure tho...

Question: I'm at the 800.com checkout and there are 2 buttons at the bottom. One for Microsoft Passport, the other for 800.com secure checkout. I clicked the Passport one, put in all my info, it seems to process, then I get kicked back to the order summary screen. I've never used Passport before so I have no idea how it works - if I use the 800.com secure checkout button, does the order still go through Passport???
