On-Demand has ruined me heh..

I am addicted to on-demand, I love jumping all over and pausing the TV when I need to. Is TIVO like this? Maybe I should look into that.

Edit

Tivo is great, tho I prefer ReplayTV, pause rewind etc... you just cant fast foward a live show of course, which is why I never watch shows live.

I don't visit many motels, but I do find myself diving for the instant replay button quite often when I'm watching TV away from home.

I have Time Warner Cable's DVR thing which lets you do the pause, FF, etc thing with TV. Football games in < 2 hours... life will never be the same again. 😀 The thing that for us at least makes TWC's service better than TiVo? Two tuners ==> record one live program, watch another live or record two and watch an already recorded program.

DirecTiVo = dual tuner goodness.

Exactly.

Hmm, I recall an advertisement for the DVR tuner from Comcast now. I will look into that. I am usually up to date on electronics and I can't believe I missed the boat on this!

I've had the Time Warner Cable DVR box for a while now. In the first few weeks, it gave me some problems (locked up a couple of times), it's been working perfectly for a few months now.

The only downside to having a DVR is that now I watch more TV. Watching TV is more "productive" since you can just fast forward through the commercials.
