On coming car in my lane! (Dashcam vid)

Missed your chance to rake the side of their car, get a new car on them and jack up their insurance rates.

Eesh that was close. If that had been me there would have been a very loud and very profane commentary on the situation

you were so lucky to be at an intersection, nice going!
I had that happen on an open stretch of road two weeks ago, where you could plainly see there was not enough room. I got on the brakes hard and we still had 3 cars in the same 100' of road. I had little shoulder to work with and a 5' deep ditch. I guess I would have had a new work truck if I survived.

Woah, that could have been easy to miss with that small hill too. Good reaction time.

People are dumb for passing when there's not clear visibility.

Maybe have the local police clean up the video and get the license plate? That assholes doesn't deserve a license, that's how you kill people.

Downloaded the 720p video and viewed frame by frame. Not the ideal conditions, cars too fast and it was dark. License plate was a blurr.

yeah!

i could feel the car losing control as i hit my brakes hard and swerved out of the way.
i probably would have lost control if it wasnt the asphalt intersection and went into the grassy shoulder 😱

my dashcam can do 1080p (unknown fps) and 720p at 60fps. (vid in OP is 720p @30fps)

Which would have a better chance in capturing the license plate?
