On-Campus Doctors

Well folks, good old Matt got ripped off out of $10... My jaw has been hurting lately, probably due to wisdom teeth coming in, so, like the smart guy i am, i took pain relievers. My parents insisted i go to the Health Center here on campus. You know that joke in high school where you could have an arm cut off, and the nurses would give you crackers to eat??? At least THOSE people got crackers. The doctor took a look, felt to make sure my jaw wasnt 5 inches to the left or right of where it normally is, and said "Well, I dont really know what it is, but umm, take some pain medication like aspirin or tylenol". For this "advice", I had to shell out 10 dollars, which I am now making sure my parents give to me. (Hey Im a poor college student. $10 is DAMN important) :| grrrrr........

Going to a real dentist with a practice will yield you more advice than some doctor at your campus health center for $10.

Any dentist that is covered by your insurance company will be good enough to determine if its your wisdom teeth that are causing you trouble. You do not have to use that particular dentist to actually get the wisdom teeth removed. You can use your home dentist for that.

So just call up your insurance company. Ask for a dentist nearby. Call that dentist and schedule an apt.

One of my old school friends, Jenny, is doing residency at a college hospital.

The past two weeks she's been in the clinic part of the hospital. Since there has been a rash (oooops, really bad pun there) of STDs lately at the school, I think she's seen just about everybody's *ahem* member.
