On-board on-case audio

I have an output and an input on my case, but the cables it came with are really stupid, supposed to run them out the back of the case then into the normal onboard audio ports.

is there pins on the motherboard like there are for usb that i can just plug them into so i can have 2 of each port, one on the front and one on the back?

I've never seen internal audio connectors like that. The only thing I can think of is soldering the wires directly to the connector, or unsoldering the connector and changing it.
