With 1 being that you love your job a lot, and 10 that you want to burn the whole building down.

Love it. Of the paying jobs, this is the best. I've had a lot worse and a lot worse pay but that could change at any moment. Thanks CFPA.

The only job I have ever "loved" was the Navy everything after that pales in comparsion..
hate the real world..
hate my job..
bleh.

rather be on a carrier in the middle of the IO at 120 degrees in the shade than at my desk working on servers.

I voted 5. I don't love it, but it's definitely low stress and it pays very well.

My dream job would be something I could be passionate about where I am the boss and make my own hours so I could spend more time with the kids.

It varies from day to day, week to week. I think if I ever actually hit a 10 I would have to walk away; it generally hovers around the middle, leaning slightly toward hatred.

Probably 3-4ish, I know I have it pretty good here in terms of conditions/work I do but at the same time I don't think the ceiling is very high and the money is only relatively good.

Pretty much same here. If the question was how bored I was with my job it'd be a 10. But the pay and benefits are great, the people are decent, my boss lets me be, theres almost zero stress, and its important work. So kind of hard to complain too much.

It can be boring and tedious sometimes (a lot of reading and research - online and manual). That's why I come in OT and read the threads, espcially the Jesus middle name thread. I have a great boss and good co-workers but the last 3 years, no pay raise for anyone, not even a dime because of the bad economy. :(

Might looking elsewhere, out of state or even out of the country.

A 2 because there's no place I want to work forever, but I have it pretty damn good.

Such a negative thread, why would you hate your job? if you hate it do something about it, there are ALWAYS options if you are willing to work hard, stop making excuses. If you hate it just for the sake of hating then get help.

3.

Money's mediocre. But the benefits are good, the hours are easy, reduced workload with extra days off in summer, and there are MILFs EVERYWHERE!!!

As a CPA at a large accounting firm I'd say about 6-8 depending on the day. But the work environment here is famously toxic.

Answered a 3, but it's maybe a 2.5 I guess. Not exactly what I want to be doing, but pretty close. Okay pay, really good benefits, great atmosphere and mostly great coworkers.

seconded; however, I'm currently hovering at a 4 right now. surprisingly nobody is bitching about things. Once busy season kicks off I'm sure it will be back to the 6-8 area.
