From what I've heard, the price should be dropping somewhat in the next several months. Dominos pizza has been hammered due to the spike in cheese prices. I'm sure we'll see some relief soon - once people start getting off the Atkins diets.

It doesn't. However, the larger number of folks following "high protein" diets have created more demand for cheese - pushing the prices up a bit.

A bit? The last time I bought cheese it was less than half this. Then again, I only go grocery shopping on the rare occasion that I feel that I need an excuse to go buy condoms.
