isn't this old news? I remember making the decision not to try it because I would miss FF's adblock too much

I am communicating to you right now via IE7 Beta.

This is a very odd browser because all the text looks softened. I have mixed feelings about it.

I don't think I like it.

If you actually tried posting this in the correct forum, you would have seen it's already been posted there.

IE7 beta = crap, imo. i tried it, and i didnt like it at all, the layout sucks, and at the time i thought it was kinda akward to navagate the actual browser. YMMV, of course

I really really hate it, everything is blurry and softened.

They managed to make a browser that ruins the internet. Wow.

I really don't like IE7. They should have kept it the same and just added more firefox/opera features.

WTF is "Clear Type" and is there a way to turn it off?

And to be honest, even the images look softened and drained of color compared to any other browser.

HOLY FREAKIN MOLY! I had no idea!

I just downloaded it and took the tour. I like it. But what's up with the blurred text? Surely it will be fixed in the official release...

You like it? WTF? What about the small "forward, back" buttons? The refresh button on the other side? The "File Edit View, etc" menu in the middle?

I can't stand it...yet I can't look away.

I played with it when I fooled around with Vista beta but it was buggy as hell. Lots of pages didn't display correctly.

This one is very different from the "Developers only" version on Vista.

I don't use the forward and back buttons (side mouse buttons). I can easily get used to the refresh & stop buttons being there.

The "File Edit View, etc" menu in the middle? - It's not in the middle, it's in the upper lower right corner, if that makes sense. It's a bit weird, but they did it so they could minimize the amount of space the browser takes up from web pages. And frankly, I don't care, I adapt easily.

It finally fits the Windows XP theme and has some great new features. TABS!
