Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!
Yes, I know there's a ton of Wii threads already.
Anyway I just got one today from Target. First of all, don't trust the shipment/inventory tracker sites. They're bunk, bologna, bullsh1t. On a whim (wasn't expecting them to be in today) I called up GameStop and they told me they sold out early this morning. I immediately called Target and they said they had a "couple" left so I raced over. When I got there a woman was just picking one up... I got the second to the last one. I was surprised there were any at all as this was just after 1pm in the afternoon. Granted, most of the kids are back in school now and parents are back on their normal work schedule...
In other news, I went into BB to use a gift card I got and they had a lonely little PS3 sitting in the middle of the store... no Wiis... didn't bother to check if Target had a PS3.
So anyway... who wants to pay $400 for a Wii?
KIDDING
Wii Sports is great... Baseball sucks, but the rest seem good. Even Boxing which I'd heard only requires you to relentlessly jab at the screen, but there are actually different attacks plus you can block and dodge. If only it had Punch-Out! characters.
Now I'm going to go play Zelda. Good luck hunting for your Wiis, gentlemen. I'd highly recommend checking stores that are less prominent as "Gamer" stores (ie: check Target, Wal-Mart, etc).
