Were the majority of the receivers of your phone calls women or men?

t3h girl
Your brother still live at home? Maybe you should move back home and save money for college.

my bro is off at college, he has no job or anything, just saying he has it easier than me.

There's this thing called a landline. You know, the POTS analog phone. If she's in your local calling area, why not use a normal phone?
she's 70 miles away

Sounds like your parents are correct. Whose your carrier? Most of the carriers let you see how many minutes you have remaining each month.

I still think a good long distance plan would be far cheaper. Or, you could get a cell plan with more minutes and shut off your long distance.

You two should just setup webcams and microphones and use netmeeting. 😀

#646# is your friend

t-mobile lets you check minutes that way

and i think verizon does too not sure about others though

Verizon is #646 (not #646#); call that number and they play a recording and also send a text message almost instantly with your usage. (Remember that #646 is the same as #MIN for minutes if you can't remember the number.)

SprintPCS is *4; call that number and they play a recording with your usage. (I don't know whether they also send a text message these days; I dumped them years ago and haven't looked back.)

Somebody else can probably fill how to check usage on the other service providers; I'm only personally familiar with Sprint and Verizon.

or maybe get the Unlimited mobile to mobile. with sprint its PCS to PCS. Verizon i believe its IN... spending an additional 5 bucks is much better than 300+... or u could threaten to cancel ur acct unless they add it on for free.
my friend once had a 500 bill. he didn't pay it until they pretty much told him to send in whatever he could. i believe he ended up paying about 150-200.
see what women do? run ur pockets dry...
good luck...
btw how much for the paintball gun?

That's nothing compared to my $2,300 phone bill last month =X. I go away to college so my girlfriend and I talk a lot, but something happened with Verizon's system and I had nothing at all. 0 minutes, no free mobile to mobile, no free night and weekends... I called and complained for a long time before they found this out. Turned out it was only $225ish =/

Haha...I don't pay for my cell phone. Work could care less how much I use on it too. 😀

Never say "could care less" ever again. It's "couldn't care less".

Either way, in response to the OP, that's nothing. I've run up phone bills much, much more than that. Yes, because of one girl, yeah, yeah. Oh well, it's over now.

Landline + MCI Neighborhood.

My total monthly phone bill is around $50. All long distance is free. I'm currently living about 2000 miles from my wife. We talk every day, sometimes for hours. Monthly phone bill is always the same.
