While I'm better at mudding drywall than I was this is taking a while. And I still have lots of corners to do. Stupid necessary bulkheads :(

If there were only a system wherein you could trade your labor for that of a drywaller.

When you are finished, I have some work (I mean fun) for you to do.

Oh man - I am way too nice of a guy (Just ask Zin) to take all that fun from other people

Bulkheads?

I did try that. They wanted a crazy amount of money for how fun this is. $1200 to have fun. Crazy!

The thing about pros is... there's usually more than 1 of them.

You missed a spot... :p

That's not anything I'd call "fun," but it does give you a nice feeling when it's done...and it's done right.

I need to drywall my basement soon. Debating on if I want to hire it out or not. I could drywall it myself and then hire out the plastering or just hire it all. It's not so much that it's hard, it's just tedious. But there is a great sense of accomplishment when you do it yourself!

Also never heard of a bulkhead being called a soffit before. A soffit is the lower portion of the overhang on a house. Usually it's perforated to let air into the attic.
