Sick s**t with that. Did anyone forget LA?s highway shootings earlier this year, or maybe it was last year, but this stuff continues across the country. 🙁

Reminded me of the Columbus, OH shootings a while back.

The fatality was a 40 year-old man that lived in New Albany, IN (where I now work). I get to drive up/down I-65 every day.

The other shooting up in Redkey, IN happened about 2 hrs so it could be connected as that's about the time needed to cover that distance.

We are safer now and the Iraq insurgency is in its last throes..

Basically.. violence will beget more violence.. what we did to Iraq should be considered a criminal action.. but we are too big and powerful to prosecute..

I very much doubt that this has anything to do with Iraq, terrorism, or any political agenda. Its likely some homegrown nut with a high powered firearm taking pot shots.

(SEYMOUR, Ind.) -- A 17-year-old confessed to firing the sniper shots on Indiana highways that killed a driver and wounded another, authorities said.

Zachariah Blanton of Gaston was held Tuesday in the Jackson County Jail and faced preliminary charges of murder, attempted murder and criminal recklessness, Prosecutor Stephen Pierson said.

Local news reporting he consented to a search of his grandparents' home and rifle was recovered. Said he acted alone.

Also reporting he has a bit of a criminal past (but no convictions). He has had criminal cases that involved "crimes of sex and some theft crimes, as well."
