Seen it too, it is indeed an amazing work of art!! That shot looks more like it was taken off TV or something in which case it's more likely a scaled down replica of the statue. Besides which the building in the background in that shot is not where David is currently being kept. Also the proportions are all off, unless the man is like 10 feet tall there is no way he would be bending down to look at the statue's genitals.
